Sheridan

September 25, 2010

Like we said in her sneak peek, we don’t often shoot seniors, but when our bride-turned-good-friend, Summer, asked if we’d be interested in photographing her sister’s senior pictures, we decided to go for it. And it was a really good decision: Sheridan was a joy to photograph–she was a natural in front of the camera, brought a great prop (her “Baby Taylor” guitar), and had a few ideas of her own!

Our favorites. Enjoy!

Sheridan had such a natural smile.

Love this one!

A quick outfit and location change…

Sheridan brought a cut-out picture to the session that she really liked (I think it was an ad), and we gave it our shot at recreating it–I’m proud of the results!

Sheridan, you were a joy to photograph–thanks for your trust in us! We hope you have an awesome senior year!

Brandi: She is stunningly gorgeous and you're right, a natural smile. Perhaps you should do more seniors! :) These are great!

Irish: Haha, shouldn't you be chrnagig for that kind of knowledge?!

Printable coupon: I like the helpful information you supply for your articles. I will bookmark your weblog and check again here frequently. I am slightly certain I will learn plenty of new stuff right here! Good luck for the next!

We’re excited to show the rest of the pictures from Sheridan’s senior session, but here’s three for now. We rarely photograph seniors, but it was such a pleasure to spend the evening photographing Sheridan that it made us want to shoot more!

April Cochran-Smith: Oh my gosh, you should definitely shoot more seniors! These are AMAZING! Can't wait to see the rest...

Leandra and I have this thing we do.

It’s something small.

From across a crowded room, or once one of us steps out of the car. Or against the others’ leg or clasped hand during a long car ride or under the table at dinner. Written in the corners of notes or books or scrawled across the IKEA chalkboard hanging in our kitchen.

3, 2, 1. We’ll show the numbers on our fingers, or write them out, or “tap-tap-tap, tap-tap, tap” it out to each other, like a simple Morse Code. It signifies the love we share, and it gives us a way to show it when words won’t work.

That’s what it means to us, but I’m not telling what it actually means. Not ever.

And even though “3, 2, 1” has already been spoken for, I highly recommend at least one secret code to share with your lover. :D

you know:-): I WILL get to the bottom of this one day! I have my little scientific lab set up over in Queretero and I am determined! :-) <3
