This past weekend we had the pleasure of photographing Tera and Rob’s beautiful wedding. Here are a couple of images from their reception at the B.O.B.

When we first met Cassie a few months ago, she was in Grand Rapids to dress shop with her mom, grandma, and some bridesmaids. So, this was the first time we spent time with both Pat and Cassie together. They were easy-going, relaxed, and up for anything… it made photographing them so enjoyable (and easy)!

The same day as Cassie and Pat’s session, there was an organized Sidewalk Chalk Flood in downtown. We couldn’t resist incorporating the city’s temporary make-over.
When we were walking out of the Amway, Cassie said to us: “I told Pat that it’s so exciting when you say ‘let’s stop here for a picture’!” because it meant they’d have one more unique location and look. We loved to hear that! Cassie and Pat, you both were so great to take pictures of–thanks!
We really enjoyed spending time with Cassie and Pat yesterday around downtown Grand Rapids–the weather was perfect, and they were wonderful to photograph! These two stood out to us as we looked through them last night…

Today’s the “official” launch of our new blog and website! You’re lookin’ at a blog that’s taken quite a few hours of work and energy to get “just right”… and even then, we may end up tweaking and shifting a few things in the coming weeks. We couldn’t wait any longer, though, so here it is! We imported all the posts from our old blog from this year, so there’s a bit of overlap from the new to the old. You’ll see our brand-new watermark (and bigger pictures) on Kathy and Charlie’s post and every post hereafter, but we didn’t feel like resizing and re-marking all the previous pictures (even though we like our new watermark SO much better!). We added a search capability, a bit longer “about” section, and an RSS feed. You’ll see links to our old blog, our new website, and our Twitter page, too.
The new website will hopefully be bug-free within the next few days, but there maybe be a few lingering hiccups as it works out the kinks of being a brand new website in a big, wide world.
